The Bakkes and Oppedal Strands arrive at a hospital's waiting room after a severe car accident, and they meet for the first time. Chaos break out when the families realize it's the exact same car accident. Why are both men in the same car?

Thea tries to convince her parents to like her fermented Japanese beans. Helene finds something unexpected in her husband's personal belongings from the hospital. Felix hides secrets on his mobile phone.

Helene tries to get Felix's mobile phone repaired when Felix suddenly disappears. Helene and Jacob work together in the search of her missing son. Thea learns sign language, regardless of Emil's objections. Ulrik wakes up from a coma.

Emil applies for the entrance exam for the military, but fails to share about his disability. Helene discovers e-mails from Ulrik on Jan-Henrik's laptop. Nora and Jacob reminisce about Africa. Thea reveals a shocking secret about Ulrik.

Ulrik is moved from intensive care to in-patient housing and is in recovery. Nora struggles to communicate with her son. Helene confronts Jan-Henrik about his affair. Nora and Felix find comfort in each other, and so does Helene and Jacob.

Helene and Ulrik meet each other for the first time. Nora struggles in learning sign language. Felix coaches Emil for the physical exam for the military, but it does not end up the way Emil planned.

Ulrik reveals all to his parents, and Felix feels guilty. Nora urges Felix to stay in photography. The relationship between Nora, Jacob, Helene and Jan-Henrik is revealed.
