The mystery of Sally's case deepens as Sally does her first hypno-regression with Milgram. Office politics continue as Robinette calculates his plan and Dr. Wellman informs Milgram about the mass in Sally's head. Two young ladies, Alphane and Lily are moving from New York to Baltimore, while their mother, Broadway star Whit Wilkerson, worries about their future.

Joe can't figure out what's going on in the apartment next door, while Lily and Alphane arrive in Baltimore wondering how it will compare to New York. Dean Savage, PI, goes back to his home town in New York and meets Chick D'Onfrio and Bobby Leone, "friends" from the old neighborhood. Sally and Milgram go deeper into her dreams revealing what happens to her in the night. Sister Maria reveals herself to be more than a nun as she leaves the convent in New York for Baltimore. Pepper and Lisa Hill tryst even as Lisa angles for her next career move. Elizabeth stops her car...

Maria arrives in Baltimore. Joe's eavesdropping on his neighbors' apartment has him concerned, as Sally appears and enters the apartment. Kevin has a choice to make when confronted by Claire Tighlman, his eccentric investment advisor. For Dr. Milgram, hospital politics become more complex as Dr. Steck makes an announcement, while Dr. Robinette's secret meeting in the parking garage turns bad.

Lily and Alphane look for an apartment in Baltimore and meet Alphane's "old friend" Solix. Whit and Teddy rehearse The Cherry Orchard at Whit's apartment. Mob boss Bobby Leone is uncomfortable when he can't call the shots in his meeting with the mysterious Colonel Strong. Milgram and Evelyn's unease is now palpable as they talk around key issues. Sally never makes it to a movie date with Mimi and David because of a run-in with The Man In The Brimmed Hat. It triggers her deeper memories of what is going on during her nighttime alien abductions.

Claire's temper is ignited at the local pub, while the abductees hold a meeting full of internal dissent. Evelyn continues to prepare for her work with Mrs. McClintock. Milgram and Robinette discuss Milgram's riffing on his case load in a tense conversation, and Lisa Hill does her first hypno-regression session. Sally's life is now almost wholly consumed by various alien interactions as she moves to her wit's edge.

Claire's many sides clarify as she begins her day in a fog. Lisa Hill does her first hypo-regression session with Dr. Milgram as Susie finds Joe in the hallway. Sally's trip to Columbus to try the Rabin case is interrupted by a phone call, a visitor and a sudden stop. Milgram faces a new hall of mirrors as he tries to process the past two days.
