Marco catches Janis and Nigel having sex on a plane and is horrified to learn that CCTV cameras have been installed on selected 737s; meanwhile Jack's sister Poppy is saved from drowning.

Poppy signs up to join the team so she can pursue Marco, but finds he is still hung up over Janis, who in turn is moving in with Captain Croker

Lehann realises she still has feelings for Marvin, but wonders if the magician can be trusted, and Jack is willing to do anything in his quest to buy girlfriend Lucy an impressive engagement ring.

A serious situation arises when Lehann is accused of drug smuggling and Poppy's calls for a safety check on a cracked plane door are ignored.

As Fresh amalgamate with larger airline Goldstar, the crew are concerned by the rumours of mass redundancies.

Susie moves into the crew flat disguising herself as a flight attendant from Goldstar but she's actually a cleaner for Fresh!, this ends in tragedy. Also Dan, Lehann and Rachel find themselves in trouble when they meet Rachels' husband, Mike in Toronto.

Captain Croker is ensnared by the amorous attentions of two women on his flight, and Lehann has to identify what's causing a nasty smell, which won't go away.

The crew encounter a therapist who specialises in preparing anxious passengers for flying, and the stewardesses have to cope with a highly strung woman who has a crush on Captain Croker.

While Captains Croker and Peterson are tested to see if they are worthy of retaining their stripes, Janis and Rachel try to sabotage their efforts.
