After the wedding failure, the family and Beth finds out the truth, which even Daan didn't know. Klaas really committed suicide, but he had help, which is alive and ends up kidnapping Fred. But he kept another secret: the sisters' mother is alive, so Beth's marriage was bigamy. She hopes to get rich from Roy's legacy.

Since Klaas's video, which still makes Olivier happy, revealed their ma Emma is alive, Fred is obsessed with tracking her down. That's hard because she took a Sanskrit name when entering the Bhagwan sect's Poona home commune. Roos, the only sister who was old enough to remember, says she was too nasty to seek contact. Even Floor's arrogant confidence subsides now the cooperation refuses to honor the supser-shake deal and major customer Supermax is going to the dogs. Its CEO, Raymond de Plessis, has sold out and advised Beth to sell her De Witte shares. Daan is now ...

Virginity frustration makes Oliver restless. Gert worries the estate is in need of major renovation, expansive and rendering the house temporarily unfit to live in. After another dairy experiment shows a colorful, mean side-effect, the sisters decide to play a mean trick on Daan. Roos takes a romantic interest in her management teacher Peter Denteneer, who finds De Witte a fascinating old-fashioned business. Floor discovers she's expecting Daan's baby, schedules an abortion but decides against it at the last moment. Fred gets another lead to ma Emma.

As the renovations will take long, Gert searches another estate for the family to rent. Roos enjoys spending time with management teacher Peter. She deeply resents the unannounced return of ma Emma, after 20 years of feeling abandoned, although dad Klaas pretended she was dead. Olivier wants to get to know her first. Beth feels threatened as overturning Emma's legal death could make her marriage bigamous. For Fred her return is a dream come true, but she also learns about Floor expecting Daan's baby.

Daan has finished his community service and finds out about his baby trough Emma. Fred is childishly happy to have ma Emma back home. Roos counts on management teacher Peter to analyze the firm and question arrogant Floor's position as CEO and Emma's as (grand)mother. Peter proves himself objective and competent. Major distributor Supermax's take-over by German Vita requires a new sales outlet. Floor counts on business contact Kevin Kramer but waves his advice to give up on competing with Franco-Belgian Aulait for a Swedisch spas chain's health drink Yobeau.

Daan is still denied confirmation he's the baby's father. Floor has accepted a crazy risk to get the Swedish contract. She now just expects reluctant Fred to help her find the necessary new milk supplying farmers. Roos not only refuses to help but openly hopes failure will allow demoting Floor. Young farmer Freek van de Wetering and Fred however quickly become a romantic item. The problem to sign him up, with five partners, is Freek's dad, who resents an incident in Klass's days with Freek's mentally handicapped brother Menno.

Peter arranges for Roos to attend a London congress with him, which only adds to the tension at home, especially with Gert. Feeling neglected by her parents and husband Piet, who reneged on their dream of an international music career, Paula flirts with charming subtropical type Johnny. Daans is worried when his former greens labor colleagues recognize him as a paroled offender 'something with women'. Floor ignores his attempt to warn and even scolds him a family stalker. Only when Paula is missing, actually discovering too late Johnny is the bait for porn, Daan's ...

Because the injunction to give the family first pick if Beth shells her shares is about to run out, Emma starts a lawsuit to question her inheritance because Klaas fraudulently had herself declared death. The suicide video and a letter Beth recently delivered anonymously could provide proof. Olivier has both, and tells only his supportive dad, in full confidence, unwilling to reveal he sneakily kept them when the sisters stupidly wanted them destroyed. Only the lies at the trial decide the noble knave's mind.

Making out and smoking pot, Olivier, Tim and some dubious friends fall asleep in the school basement bike shed, which catches fire. Because Jelle has a juvenile record and is already 18, he risks jail now. Olivier takes the blame and alternative work punishment, believing Jelle's girl-friend Amber she would leave him for Ollie unless Jelle is jailed. Only when he catches them kissing, Ollie grasps he was set up. After telling the truth, he gets shunned, but not by true friend Tim.

The family ignores, as usual, Fred's suggestion to buy beauty farms, although there is no better plan to compensate the Swedish Yobeau order halving. However the arrival of Fred's showbiz friend and romantic rival, celebrity actress Famke, arouses attends, mainly from the boys, fun until the paparazzi catch up. Fred panics when seeing peter is preparing to prose, and accuses flirtatious Famke of trying to 'steal him'. Meanwhile Emma finds an alternative investor, her lawyer Lindner's business client Yakov. The family signs a deal, although Lindner warns against him.

Floor wonders what real estate dealing Dan has with financier Yakov. But when their baby is diagnosed in danger, Daan takes time off to make sure she stays in bed on doctor's orders. Fred convinces Gert and Roose to play Midsummernight's Dream with her. Peter still takes Roos along to an Antwerp congress. She prefers staying in his room and have an adulterous affair, although he announces he's leaving for Boston on a 2 year visiting professor contract. With Lindner's help, De Witte's beauty farms dump the Swedish contract.

While everyone else is at the local Halloween party, pregnant Floor and sick Fred watch a horror-movie with Paula, who rented it by goes to bed early. Although TV reported crazy twins escaped from the nearby mental asylum, a highly suspicious power-cut still doesn't worry Floor. She only faces facts after finding Piet, throat slashed. She's soon overpowered by the two strong intruders. Although she never said more then her name before dropping her cellphone, Daan still arrives and overpowers the pair single-handedly. Then a dark twist nearly changes everything.

Just because Daan has been seen talking to Yakov and the Swedish chain executive, the girls fear he may be in league with them so they can ruin De Witte and steal Yobeay back. Fred believes his story that Yakov secretly has bought off the Swedes to let go. Floor also chooses to believe the father of her baby. He can't be there when Cas(per) is born, during the dairy firm's 75 jubilee production of Midsummernight's Dream, so Oliver drives her to the hospital. Daan may be in deep trouble, as goons and up dumping his car in the river.
