Koji Kabuto pilots the amazing Mazinger Z for the first time.

Koji and Shiro get to know Sayaka and his father. Sayaka pilots the female robot Aphrodite A and agrees to teach Koji to pilot Mazinger Z.

The boys meet Boss and his gang of thugs and immediately enter into conflict

Koji starts attending school and Boss challenges him to a motorcycle race. While Dr. Hell develops a robot that can disable Mazinger Z's controls

Dr. Hell builds a mechanical monster capable of creating optical illusions. After casting Koji Kabuto in a bad light, he sets a trap for Mazinger Z.

Doctor Hell plans a double attack: with the mechanical monster Tsaila he draws Mazinger Z away from the base, and with another robot, Dankel, he attacks the research institute for photoatomic energy.

Baron Ashura hides his male side and explains to the inhabitants of the city that their lives will always be in danger as long as Professor Yumi and Koji continue to fight

A new mechanical monster, Jyron G1, shows up in front of the research institute but incredibly the enemy waves the white flag.

The new mechanical monster Rod R2 attacks the city and Koji and Sayaka don't hesitate to leave. The new robot runs on solar energy and Aphrodite A is immediately split in two.

It is the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Research Institute for Photoatomic Energy and a reception is held where major scientists have been invited.

The Diana A is complete, much to Sayaka's delight. She can't wait to pilot her new robot and show Koji just how strong she can be.

Dr. Hell loads the Blaster A7 with a cobalt bomb, hoping to blast the Photon Power Laboratory off the face of the earth once and for all.

With his pride on the line, Baron Ashura pleads with Archduke Gorgon to lend his Elephan Gamma-3 for an assault on the Photon Power Laboratory.

Archduke Gorgon offers to help Dr. Hell destroy Mazinger Z with his Greeks Psi-II. When the Photon Power Lab is attacked, Koji is nowhere to be seen.

Staff at the Photon Power Lab intercept a fake transmission from the Iron Cross, and Koji is lured into a trap on Bardos island.

After the Iron Cross kidnaps Koji, Dr. Hell dispatches a cyborg lookalike in a bid to take over the Photon Power Laboratory.

Boss' dream of flying comes true when it unknowingly rides on the Hawk Y2. When it attacks the lab, Boss' presence stymies Koji's response.

Vizcount Pigman ( or PiGuMaN) joins the forces of Doctor Hell and uses Fire against both the forces of Doctor Hell and the ones of Mazinger Z and his allies.

Diana A offers to teach Boss Boro how to swim in the sea, but when a mechanized tail destroys a nearby ship, the lesson turns into a game of survival.

Viscount Pygman infiltrates the lab, exposing the staff to a terrible disease. Meanwhile, Boss Borot and Diana A investigate a mysterious fireball.

Dr. Watson arrives in Japan to help design a weapon for Mazinger Z. Before he reaches the lab, Bornest S9 attacks his helicopter.

A rogue Viscount Pygman seizes the Glory R2. He kidnaps Boss, Sayaka and the others, threatening to kill them unless he gets the Photon Power Lab.

Risking death, Dr. Hell goes on the offensive, sending his Ghoul flaying fortress to lure Mazinger Z back to Hell Castle.

While Mazinger Z receives critical repairs inside the lab, Archduke Gorgon sends Gilania Beta-5 to attack the facility, equipped with a cobalt bomb.

Shiro's mother somehow returns from the dead. He wants to live with her, but she gives him an ultimatum: stop fighting and blow up the Jet Pilder.

In an all-out offensive, Koji and the others depart for Hell Castle. As Mazinger Z nears the island fortress, Haribyun V6 meets it with heavy fire.

After hearing that the Photon Power Lab has sustained heavy damage, the Emperor of Darkness orders his Great General to destroy it once and for all.
