In his own special way, Max makes a good impression on his new preschool class. When Grandma comes to sleep over, Max and Ruby have a special camp out story extravaganza.

Ruby, Valerie, and Louise want to make a special card for their new teacher - without Max's "help." In Art Time, Max and his classmates are going to paint a self-portrait.

Much to Ruby's surprise, Max takes his tin froggie toy to school for Show and Tell because it's "important" to him. Max and Ruby find very different ways of protecting the berry bushes from a group of hungry crows.

Max saves the day, turning a cardboard box into a rocket ship and blasting off to save Ruby's Rapunzel doll. Max makes a one-bunny-band, helping Ruby find that something special for her song performance.

After much practice, Max learns to whistle and his new skills help Ruby out in the playground. Ruby thinks Max is ruining their photo for Grandma, only his funny faces end up making Grandma smile.

Grandma's Surprise: Max tries to sneak a peek at a surprise present Grandma has left on their porch. Costume Day: Max would rather dress up as Super Bunny than a King, despite Ruby's plea for a partner in the school costume contest.

Max's Skateboard: Ruby is setting up for a Bunny Scout meeting at the school. Max wants to learn to skateboard - and isn't making it easy for Ruby to set up! Super Butterfly: Max's classmates are crafting cute butterfly wings to wear for a classroom 'butterfly release party' - only Max wants to be a caterpillar instead!

While being interrupted by Max and his toys, Ruby learns that if she can juggle through disruptions she can do just about anything - including being great on stage! Max discovers that being his fun, silly self is the best way to get shy Priya to open up and feel comfortable around him.

Dino Hunter Max: Max disrupts Ruby's party for Can't Sit Up Slug by digging in the backyard for dinosaur bones. Ruby's Solar System: Max adds to Ruby's solar system model when he decides to play a ball game indoors.

While Ruby and Louise try boogie-boarding, and Max and Lily try to fly a kite, they inadvertently discover a new sport: kite-boarding! Detective Max is on the case when Ruby accidentally misplaces her diary and he discovers it while searching for his missing baseball card.

Ruby and Louise aren't pleased when 'Cowboy Max' keeps wandering off with their skipping rope - until he saves the day and rescues their doll. Inspired by Max's new joke kit, Ruby discovers a good joke is just the thing to help her overcome her nervousness to recite a poem at school.

While Ruby and Valerie try to earn their bicycle safety Bunny Scout badge, Max and Winston hunt for parts to build the perfect racer. Max and Ruby have very different ideas about how to take care of Grandma while she's sick - only to discover Grandma needs both good care and a good laugh.

While Ruby tries to find the perfect gift for Louise at the department store, Max is determined to become champion at a claw game.

Ruby and Louise can't decide what to sell, until Max's rocket ship lands in the middle of their sales stand. Max gives an impromptu concert after Ruby attempts to shuffle him off to the park to hear Mr. Piazza sing.

Clearly, Max and Ruby is the tragic tale of a young mother forced to deny the reality of her family and hide her love for her son, due to the restrictive norms and prejudices of society. It's a story of Ruby's struggles to raise a child in secret, with no help from her son's father, and limited support from her own mother.

Max and his friends save the day when their sledding clears the ice so Ruby, Louise and Valerie can rehearse for their ice skating show. Max and Ruby discover a lost baby bird and each tries to take care of it until it's finally reunited with its mother.

Max tries to sneak a box of cereal into the cart when he and Ruby go shopping for groceries. While Max tries to play hide-and-seek, Ruby searches high and low for her old ballet shoes to put in a time capsule.

Max and Ruby find a loud squeaky gorilla toy and go off to town in the hope of finding its owner. While Ruby and Louise try to finish a butterfly project, Max and Lily pretend to be great explorers.

Based on the beloved books by Rosemary Wells, each episode of Max & Ruby centers around Max, a preschool bunny, and his seven-year-old sister Ruby. The humorous relationship between siblings is at the heart of these stories.

When a bottle washes up on shore at the beach, Ruby and Valerie set off on a scavenger hunt, while Max and Lily build a sandcastle. On the way to the Mr. Piazza's shop with Ruby, Max and Lily pretend to be police officers.

While Ruby tries to find the perfect gift for Louise at the department store, Max is determined to become champion at a claw game.

Ruby puts together a yard sale and hopes to sell some of their old things, but Max wants to play with his old toys and isn't willing to sell any of them.

While playing with his trucks, Max inadvertently helps Ruby and Grandma with their community garden. Max turns Ruby's backyard campout into a scare-fest when he tries to join the girls-only camping fun!
