Ginta has entered the World of MAR, where he meets a witch named Dorothy and learns about ARM, magical accessories with powers that correspond to the bearer's magical power. She takes him to a cave where he discovers the ARM "Babbo", the ARM with a will of its own that has the ability to speak.

On his journey, Ginta meets Jack and his mother, whose garden has been periodically terrorized by werewolf brothers, the "Rogelu Brothers". Upon learning this, Ginta decides to take action against these vegetarian werewolves...

Ginta and Jack arrive at Pazu Town on their journey in search of the ARM that could send Ginta back to his world. Can they find the Dimension ARM that Ginta once used, in this town that's reputed to have everything?

A mysterious boy named Alviss suddenly appears before Ginta and company. He claims to be the very person who summoned Ginta to the World of MAR. What is his true identity? Who and what are the "Chess Pieces" he speaks of?

Ginta and the others enter the frozen castle where they face the "Chess Pieces" for the first time. How will Ginta handle Ian, the Rook class Chess Piece! And, who is this girl named Snow who is trapped inside the ice?

Ginta learns that Chess Pieces are much stronger than expected! Just when all hope seems lost, help appears from an unexpected source.

Alan explains the World of MAR's current situation, and of the history of war between Cross Guard and Chess Pieces. Ginta can barely contain his excitement. What waits ahead for Ginta's solid resolve? Meanwhile, Phantom, the commander of the Chess Pieces, makes a big move...

It's time for training as Ginta, Jack and Snow are sent to another dimension with the help of Alan's Dimension ARM "Training Gate". What arduous training tasks await Ginta and the others? And what is the purpose of the Magic Stones Alan hands them?

While Ginta and the others train in another dimension, "Chess Pieces" finally begin their advance to take over the World of MAR! Is there any hope for the World of MAR or will it be checkmated by Chess Pieces' immense force?

Ian, one of the Chess Pieces, attacks Alan who cannot fight back while his Dimension ARM is activated! With Six months of intense training complete, Ginta returns ready to battle the Chess Pieces! Will Ginta's training help him beat Ian?

Nanashi's ARM sends Ginta and the others to Vestry, the village completely destroyed by Chess Pieces. Enraged, they chase after Orco and Girom, two Chess Pieces, into a cave with an underground lake. Can "Team MAR", stand up to the these two villainous Chess Pieces?

The battle between Ginta and Girom has begun! The Chess Piece Girom, a member of the Bishop Class, underestimates Ginta, but soon learns from his mistake when Babbo turns into the most amazing weapon yet!
