Mancuso investigates the suspicious death of a woman working as an assistant to a rising politician. What he uncovers is a political mudslinging campaign that runs deeper than anybody expected.

When an agent is killed in a car bomb and it appears he was with a known Asian criminal, Mancuso has to find out if the man is clean or not. Initially Mancuso learns that the device used is property of the CIA, so he goes to a man he knows at the Agency and tells him that there's so many of them floating around anyone could have gotten it. Mancuso is assigned security detail to a group of visiting Russian diplomats. Tensions run high when a bomb is discovered at the airport. Meanwhile, agent Carter is investigating a series of threats made against a local abortion clinic.

A low level organized crime boss enters federal witness protection. Mancuso is tasked with keeping him alive until he can testify in an upcoming trial. The security becomes compromised when there's a leak in the department.

When someone breaks into a nuclear power plant and kills a guard Mancuso investigates. He learns that a quantity of plutonium is missing. Evidence points to the Mossad, Israeli Intelligence, which might damage relations with Israel. Mancuso suspects the plant physicist is not telling all he knows.

The FBI is hot on the trail of a group of bank robbers with ties to the IRA. When a series of bank jobs turns fatal, time is of the essence. The team must track down the robbery crew by investigating their local connections.

When a new military helicopter that was being tested crashes. The military and the manufacturer announces that it was because of the pilot. But someone calls the pilot's wife who tells her the manufacturer is trying to cover up that something was wrong with their craft. So she goes to the FBI and Mancuso investigates but the military stonewalls them.

Mancuso goes undercover into the prison system, to expose a scandal where repeat offenders are extorted for money. Agent Carter searches for a missing illegal immigrant, while Jeannie's deadbeat husband nudges his way back into her life.

When a black girl is raped and suspicion falls on a white cop. The cop refuses to give his blood to test against blood found on her. The D.A. who is running for reelection comes in saying that this is just a smear campaign. Mancuso investigates along with a civil rights attorney he knows and discovers a lot anomalies.

An undercover FBI agent goes missing while working the local gang scene. While searching for the missing agent, Mancuso and his team discover the gangs are working with a local real estate developer on some type of urban renewal scandal.

Mancuso meets a young beautiful woman in the city. He soon discovers she is actually an eastern European spy looking to defect to the west. However, when another defector is murdered she is suspected of being involved in the assassination.

When Arab ruler who married an American comes to Washington on a diplomatic mission, his wife and daughter are kidnapped. Mancuso investigates and discovers that the kidnapping might be an inside job. And he also learns that the fairy tale romance may not be what people think it is.

Nick's niece calls him when her fiancé is arrested for killing a reporter. Later another agent tells Mancuso that he thinks that there's a group of fascists in that neighborhood. But Mancuso learns that the group has a lot Jewish members. So Mancuso turns to the dead man's wife to find out what he was working on.

An escort is murdered and Dr. Summers is arrested as the prime suspect. Mancuso works to clear the doctor's good name, but has difficulties when the case falls under the jurisdiction of the D. C. Police Department.

Mancuso continues working to clear Dr. Summers' name in the murder investigation. Things become infinitely more complicated when it appears the doctor is being framed so he cannot testify in an upcoming trial.

Jeannie's husband Matt is attacked by bookies and falls into a coma, after his sports betting debts catch up to him. Mancuso goes undercover into the illegal gambling world to expose the racket and to find Matt's attackers.

When someone makes an attempt at a Supreme Court Justice, Mancuso investigates and initially evidence points to a case involving race.

A detective is found murdered. Mancuso works to solve the case but mostly finds resistance in the police department. Suspecting it is an inside job, he works to establish a link between the murder and a hard currency heist scheme.
