Brad arrives in Bushwick to meet with his cousin Jeffy who has promised him a room to rent and a record deal, neither of which he is prepared for. Having his friend Luis shuffle Brad out to 'Bed Bugs and Beyond' for his baptism of the local bar scene, Jeffy takes the opportunity to dispose of Pavel D, the Estonian ecstasy dealer currently squatting in Brad's room with two euro-sluts.

Luis and Brad come home to the loft to Pavel D dressed as a big-shot record manager who's last name is "Los Angeles". Surprisingly, the fake deal doesn't go through and Brad is consoled by Gaia's Reiki hugs and tequila.

In the wake of a late night rager, Chlois, another roommate says she is cashing in her New York pipe dream because she is out of money. Jeffy promises to get her painting sold so she can continue to pay rent while Brad nurses a hangover. At brunch, the local art dealer and Bushwick socialite Bryce is there with friends, Luis tries to start up a conversation.
