We meet the residents of Waterman Avenue. Jack lies to his mother. Tyler's grandfather stops by. Tom meets Carl in an unexpected way. A new neighbor named John moves in and Ben has an unknown connection to him. Jimmy receives great news.

In flashbacks, Tom has control issues, Carl has work issues, Jack has friend issues, and Tyler has family issues. Also, the truth comes out about John and Ben.

Jack runs into a man with his shopping cart. Tom and Carl start to fight. Jimmy's father is closer than Jimmy thought. John goes missing, and Jack, Tyler, and Tom go out looking for him.

After discovering some information about his siblings, John is found unconscious in the woods by Jack, Tyler, and Tom.

Two months later, Jack remembers a tragedy in his family. Tyler starts thinking about his father. Ben and John's rivalry intensifies, as does Tom and Carl's. A man is kicked out of his own house.

Jared comes to visit Jack. Carl apologizes to Tom. Jimmy announces his soon departure and Tyler discovers that Jimmy is worried about the matter. Jack discovers Jason moved in, while Ben discovers that John was telling the truth.

At Jimmy's party, Jack is approached by Jared's lawyer. Tyler begins looking for his father. Ben apologizes to John. Tom confronts Carl. Jimmy doesn't want to move away. Jason takes actions that could change everyone's lives.

Jack is desperate to find a way to prove his innocence. Tyler learns why his grandmother doesn't want him looking for his father. Carl's life might change forever. Jason starts to lose it as John copes with his loss.

A tornado comes to Waterman Avenue. Jack spreads the truth about Jason. John learns the truth.. Carl receives his test results.

Tyler finds out where his father is. Jack, Ben, and Tom try to make Carl feel better. John and Rebecca are in danger as Jason's master plan goes into action.
