Liu Chun, Qiu Zhiwen, Wen Xiaoxiao and Xiong Li are oversea students from China. They landed in Canada to start their life there. However, Xiong was refused to pass the customs because of carrying too much undeclared cash.

Four students arrived at their dormitory, but the house is completely different from the ones described in the advertisement. Therefore they decide to talk to the owner of the agency.

Tommy and his friend Johnny are preparing for a stage play. They find it hard to select their leading lady. Therefore Alice recommended Chun and Xiaoxiao to them.

A fire was accidentally started while the students were celebrating Xiong's birthday. They had to move out and start to think about finding a new place to stay.

Xiong got a fake driving license with the help of Suo. Chun moved to live with the Scotts. Qiu finally found a job to afford his expenditure in Canada.
