Sam and Tyler compete to catch a cricket; Sam's friendship with Glenn becomes strained when he begins spending time with his new seventh grade classmates.

Sam is forced to reveal that he does not know how to ride a bike when he is asked to join a bike relay team; Sam gains a new confidence when he gets his first chest hair.

Sam impresses his classmates with an epic birthday party, but his extravagance leaves him unable to pay the bill; Tyler convinces Carter to revive their old martial arts act in hopes of earning a spot on a television talent show.

Sam directs the homeroom's class film; an argument between Tyler and Sam pushes Tyler to join a rival homeroom.

Tyler and Sam sneak into their old elementary school fair; Tyler discovers Gigi, Dallas, and Sophia's secret dance club.
