Kaye brings us up to date with what got out of control in her summer California garden, encounters with wild parrots and mildew on cucumbers, corn takes off! Potatoes harvested, flytraps installed, California natives planted.

Kaye's front yard edible garden is standing room only with corn, beans, tomatoes, amaranth, sunflowers, zucchini and more. Wild parrots finish off the sunflowers. The mildew that got the cucumbers moves in for the kill on the melons.

Kaye visits the National Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, CA 2013, and offers a taste of the expo.

Season 2 finale is a tour of the Late Bloomer garden on a rare rainy day in Los Angeles. Kaye finds Monarch caterpillars and sparrows searching for food.
