Lebanon: Philippe Desrosiers is in Lebanon. He discovers a nation that is both multicultural and multifaith, where each community has its own codes and traditions. An opportunity to observe celebrations to mark a wedding, a birth, a coming of age, that sometimes involves a scalpel, and a death.

Japan: Philippe Desrosiers visits Japan, Land of the Rising Sun. A country with a very specific culture originating in its age-old customs and traditions. He observes a ceremony in commemoration of death, a grand 20th birthday celebration, a divorce and a baby's first visit to the temple.

Sri Lanka: Philippe Desrosiers heads for the heart of Asia, Sri Lanka, a country where traditions date back centuries. He witnesses several original rites of passage: the funeral process of an elderly lady, a dance to mark a coming of age, a ritualised child's first meal and a tearful wedding.

Jamaica: Philippe Desrosiers is in Jamaica, in the Caribbean, where music is everywhere and culture is a mix of traditions and international customs. He is lucky enough to be able to witness a birth, take part in a funeral, meet a bride and a young athlete, future 800-metre champion.
