When two merpeople, Aukai and Sirena, wash up on the shores of LA, they befriend lifeguard, Skip, who helps them adjust to life on land.

As Sirena and Aukai adjust to life on land, they meet Skip and his sister, Amy, who invite them to exploring the Santa Monica Promenade. However, Aquanians, Ariella Nott, Coralee, and Elora surface to bring them back under the sea.

With borrowed time on land, Aukai and Sirena aim to prove that life on land is better than the stories have told to Ariella Nott, Coralee, and Elora. Tensions rise and secrets are unravelled at a bonfire as a certain mistake puts everyone at risk.

When secrets are revealed, the Aquanians have to set things right once again. Skip no longer knows what to believe and forgiveness is critical in preparation of the Save the Oceans gala.

In this season finale, at the Save the Oceans Gala, tensions peak among the Aquanians and humans, family members are reunited, and a certain arrival twists up a storm.
