July 11, 1952. Two sisters are savagely murdered in their tobacco shop in Seville. The money was in plain sight, but it wasn't touched. Without leads, the police follows a jail rumor pointing to three petty criminals.

Perpignan, 1971. A toy factory supervisor becomes obsessed with a newly hired employee. To be with her, he plans the perfect crime: Training his lover to murder his wife.

Madrid, 1924. A ne'er-do-well in his 30s, perpetual disappointment to his aging military father, hatches a plan to rob the mail train to Andalusia. He intends the hit to be bloodless, but complications arise soon.

July 18, 1902. A woman and her daughter are brutally murdered in the Extremaduran town of Don Benito. Everybody knows the depraved town boss was responsible, but nobody dares to declare against him.

Barcelona, 1949. Facing poverty in a ruined city, an attractive woman decides to try her luck in the world of high-class prostitution.
