Some police vans are entering the Spanish embassy in Thailand. There, the agents are preparing to arrest Ambassador Luis Salinas for money laundering, prevarication, influence peddling, and a long etc. In addition, stacks of banknotes that target the diplomat's crime appear in the registry. Once the trial started, the first to testify is Claudia, the ambassador's wife, who tells of her experience that started a year earlier, when she arrived in Thailand. Luis and Claudia investigate what happened the night before with the suspicion that the arrest of their daughter, Esther is actually a trap. She lives a hell in the Thai jail with the fear of life imprisonment while in the embassy all the possible threads move. The family puts themselves in the hands of a lawyer, and as the hours pass they become aware that the only way to get her out of prison as soon as possible is bribery. Furthermore, Bernardo, the consul, feels consumed by guilt and the fear of being discovered.
