Nagate achieves brilliant military results, and he is the admiration of pilot trainees. Meanwhile, Kunato sneaks into Ochiai's secret laboratory where was sealed off.

When Sidonia has a hard fight against Gauna, a Human-type Gauna appears and gives protective covering fire for Sidonia. The Human-type Gauna has familiar voice, and introduces itself to all as Tsumugi Shiraui.

Cap. Kobayashi decides a new course toward Ninth of Lem Star System.

Although Gauna-550 captured Tsumugi, Kunato thinks that it's an opportunity to try out the new weapon which she has.

Nagate and Yuhata visits Izana and Tsumugi in the hospital and laboratory.

Nagate had to leave the dormitory. He didn't know where he should go, and wants Izana to help.

It seemed that testing of a new weapon succeeded, but the weapon gets out of control.

Yuhata begins to live with Nagate, Izana and Tsumugi, under the pretext of the supply-restriction started.

Nagate and Izana go to Sensyukyo where there is some of the greatest scenic beauty in Sidonia.

The reconnoitering party which included Izana leaves for the Ninth of Lem star system.

Nagate and Tsumugi go to the Ninth to rescue the reconnoitering party. They encounter an unexpected enemy there.

Beni-Suzume lets its own Ena invade the Tugumori Custom-2 inside, and reproduces Hoshiziro in the cockpit where Nagate is.
