At a parents' evening, ambitious tax official Hugo meets Marius, a mobster who's just been released from prison. Marius gets a visit from an old friend.

Hugo is a FIOD informant and discovers something shocking about Marius, while Kitty argues with Miss Judith about Chrissie's role in the musical.

Hugo's trying to save Marius' life. Kitty is presented with the bill for threatening Miss Judith. Marius is desperately trying to sell the gold.

Marius is going to live with Piet for the time being. Hugo warns Kitty that Marius is still in grave danger. Samuels has a strange request for Hugo.

Marius was thrown into the canal with concrete at his feet. The FIOD warns Hugo that he should definitely not go with Samuels to Malta.

Hugo takes Samuels to Malta to work with a corrupt minister. Kitty doesn't want anything to do with Marius anymore.

Samuels is blackmailing Hugo with the cocaine and sex scandal, so Hugo has to keep working for him. Kitty and Marius want a deal with the police.

King comes to Kitty's house and intimidates her. Marius is furious, but powerless. Hugo comes up with a plan to solve everything.

Samuels and Konings are trying to get the gold back, while Marius and Hugo both find themselves in an impossible position.

The Milner and Warmond families end up in a safe house together, but Samuels doesn't give up and tries to find them.
