Finch is convinced that Nina has an imaginary alter ego while Maya discovers how Jack deceived her on Halloween many years ago.

Finch challenges Maya to play a good practical joke.

Finch conspires to set Maya up on a date with another woman.

Elliott promises to get revenge after Finch is taken advantage of by a woman.

Maya is convinced that her new boyfriend is sending her messages by way of the puppets that he uses on his children's television show.

Jack is upset when he's bumped from a list of the most influential New Yorkers, and actor Mark Hamill stalks Finch.

Nina is despondent at the retirement of a longtime rival; Jack's desire to gain fame by naming a park after himself backfires.

It's Christmas and Finch is hinting at what present he wants. And he can't help but take a peek and when he sees that it's not what he wants, but rather something lame, he goes on a tear substituting everyone's presents with lame objects also.

Maya tries to convince Elliott that his slow-witted brother is a fake.

Maya's old boyfriend, an actor who went to England to join a Dramatic Academy comes back to town and reconnects with her. And Jack is not happy to see cause he didn't like him and walked in on them in flagrante delicto. It's when Jack is expressing his disapproval of him that he blurts out how the guy got into the Academy.

Maya's efforts to woo a handsome presidential candidate are disrupted when he falls for Nina instead.

Following his divorce, Finch's dad starts dating Nina.

Finch tries coming to grips with his dad's engagement to Nina.

Maya's plan for a murder mystery theme party backfires when a grouchy neighbor dies on her doorstep.

As a practical joke, Finch switches Elliott's birthday presents from Maya and a co-worker.

Finch tries to keep from being identified as the magazine's new advice columnist; Elliott accidentally offends a big advertiser.

Maya's taking a photography class and her teacher instructs her to take a nude self portrait. Elliot thinks the guy just wants to see Maya naked.

Maya, Nina and Elliott are all nominated for a prestigious fashion magazine award.

Maya is persuaded to pitch in the office's annual softball game.

Jack has second thoughts about hiring a rigorous personal trainer.

After offering some unsolicited advice about Nina's tendency to make bad choices, Maya sees that it hasn't sunk in after catching her making out with a deliveryman. But when Maya interrupts their passionate kiss, she discovers that it's really an old boyfriend of Nina's who's just escaped from prison. In an effort to keep Nina out of trouble, Maya suggests calling the police. However, Nina is in no mood to send Roy packing and even agrees to hide him in her apartment. Meanwhile, Jack, Finch and Elliott all start betting on each other's habits and idiosyncrasies. When ...

When a guy Dennis knows whose rich and has a pretty wife who likes to flaunt it in front of Dennis shows up. And not wanting to seem like a loser, Dennis claims he is dating Adrienne a model who is there to do a photo shoot. And it turns it she just broke up with her boyfriend.

Finch announces that he and Adrienne are going to get married. Maya is unconvinced of their love and thinks he is manipulating her somehow. Complications arise when Adrienne's ex, the hockey player, shows up looking for blood...Dennis'. If he is to remain out of harm's way wedding plans will have to be accelerated.
