Jurassic Cubs

Five young dino "cubs", Ranu, Saro, Stego, Bronto and Nunzy, whose parents have left them in the safety of a cave during a meteor shower. What a fright they had, having to wake up without Mamma and Papa! Desperate, they set out in search of their parents and, along the way, bump into a clumsy dinosaur by the name of Nichus.

Saùro explains to the cubs how their parents, who had taken refuge inside a black meteorite that had crashed, might have been transported to another time and era... for when the first ray of morning sun touches the surface of the meteorites, they transform into time machines! It is then up to the cubs to find these meteorites before dawn. Our friends set out at once.

As Nichus runs along panting, he is suddenly hit by a ball made of leaves: the cubs are playing a new game, unwittingly invented by Stego: Soccer! Recovering from the blow, Nichus warns our friends that another meteorite is about to crash... They must hurry if they want to reach it before sunrise! This time, the meteorite takes them to Ness, a tiny medieval Scottish village settled on a lake...

The source of remembrances bubbles- a new black meteorite is on its way. The cubs had better hurry up to reach it in time! To make it to the meteorite, our friends must traverse a dark cave inhabited by a group of large moths. They sure are scary, but turn out to be harmless. A colourful vortex then transports our friends to a settlement during the "Old" West called "Rock Town".

The adventure kicks off as our cubs are in the midst of a dangerous climb up the face of a mountain to reach the black meteorite that has crashed on the summit. At dawn, the cubs enter the magic rock, and as the first ray of morning sunlight hits it, are then catapulted forward in time, landing right on top of the Duomo Cathedral of Milan, while still in construction...

In the cave of the Red Mountains, the cubs celebrate the birthday of young Bronto. But they haven't even had time to eat the cake when, all of a sudden, a new black meteorite is spotted! The cubs set out towards the "rock", but along the way, happen upon a swarm of angry bees... In order to escape, our friends must dive into a muddy well.

In order to reach the meteorite this time, the cubs will have to cross a pond infested with crocodiles! Things take a quick turn for the worst, as our friends make a hasty retreat. Nichus calls upon them to continue making their way: there's little time left before dawn! This time around, the meteorite will take the cubs to a strange, dark place with long corridors and torch-lit chambers...

Nichus is showing off in front of the cubs with a series of evocative Chinese shadows, created with both hands and tail, but everything is then interrupted by a flare emitted from the source of remembrances: it's a another black meteorite! The cubs' latest journey takes them through the "valley of the shadows", a ghostly place that causes our Jurassic friends to tremble with fear...

To reach the meteorite, the cubs follow a river up to the point where they must cross it, passing a few prominent landmasses along the way. Unfortunately, our friends soon wind up in the water and are dragged by the current toward a dangerous waterfall, under which a black meteorite can be seen.

Nichus gathers the cubs in preparation to reach the meteorite which, this time, has crashed in the gloomy "Plain of Dread". After the group escapes the attack of the "archaeopteryx", Nichus, afraid to spend the night on his own, decides to go inside the meteorite to wait for the sky to clear up. He then, however, falls asleep, and unintentionally leaves with the cubs!

To the cubs, the world during 2150 looks like a dark mass of chimneys, factories and metal buildings that shoot thick smoke into the environment. Ranu defines it as "the most disgusting place ever visited". The courageous Saro is then saved by Roy, the robo-dinosaur, an employee of the "Taurus Corporation"- a powerful multinational, whose brand can be seen all over the city.
