The group begins rehearsals for their first big competition just a few weeks away, while Kate and Lauren go head to head for the lead solo part in the ensemble routine.

After much deliberation, Matthew and Max reveal which dancer- Lauren or Kate- landed the solo part for the competition. Meanwhile, the boys in the Joffrey Elite are struggling to learn the intense choreography.

Tensions are high within Joffrey Elite during the final rehearsal before their first competition. The boys are still struggling with their partnering skills, and Harrison's position on the team is in jeopardy after missing several classes at school. Will the team be ready to compete next week?
