Jagannath Mishra, a modest Banarasi, has grown bitter over the years ever since all of his children moved out of the house. However, a storm is on the horizon, that will change Jagannath's life forever.

Jagannath saves Purvi from drowning herself in the Ganga. Since she has nowhere to stay, Jagannath brings her home. Is this the beginning of a new friendship?

Babu sneaks into Jagannath's house to meet Purvi. However, Purvi's brothers also arrive there searching for her. Will she be found?

Purvi requests to stay at Jagannath's house for a few days. Purvi's presence causes arguments between Jagannath and his wife. What will happen now?

Jagannath finds out that Purvi ran away from home to escape her marriage. Will Jagannath kick her out of the house?

Purvi makes preparations at the temple for her marriage to Munna. However, Jagannath traps her inside the house and Purvi's parents arrive in Banaras to take her back.

Jagannath decides to intervene to save Purvi from her family's abusive behaviour. However, Purvi's parents end up disowning her and leave Jagannath's house in anger. What will happen now?
