Amid the ongoing tensions with Beth, Izzy's drinking, and his mother-in-law's impending death from cancer, Huff looks to find his missing brother and deal with the outcome of his argument with his best friend, Russell.

A mission to Mexico to rescue Teddy forces Huff enlist Russell's help.

Huff and Teddy try to find a mutually acceptable residence for Teddy. Russell becomes more concerned with Dauri's behavior. Madeleine reaches a turning point.

Huff continues therapy with Dauri. Izzy goes to a casino. Teddy begins having hallucinations. Byrd gets caught after breaking into a house. Huff and Beth make some time to be together.

Huff and Beth go to couples' therapy. Beth deals with a difficult client and has an epiphany. Teddy gets a job and Izzy starts a romance.

Beth joins a prayer group, Huff's father reappears, and Teddy meets an artist.

Huff speaks to Dr. Markova's students, Byrd gets caught again inside a house, Izzy tells Ben how she feels, and Russell misses an important appointment.

Huff and Beth have an argument at their therapist's, leading Huff to undergo an experimental therapy procedure. A friend of Beth's comes to town, Byrd and Izzy have a conversation, and Russell does some good.

Huff reviews the results of his therapy, leading to a confrontation with Beth. Ben wants Izzy back, at some risk, and Teddy gets deeper into his relationship.

Huff gets no support in his decision, Teddy snaps at Alyssa, Russell is ambivalent in his responsibilities, and Byrd is threatened.

Beth has a dinner party, and Huff and Russell have a night on the town.

As Russell narrowly avoids landing in jail, things between him and Huff continue to deteriorate.

As Pepper's overdose death lands Russell in jail and costs him his job, Huff learns that it won't be easy to go back home again.
