Ron Stevenson overhears a phone conversation where his wife Jill volunteers him to work on a project for someone else.

Ron and Jill decide to go camping for a couple days. At first, the great outdoors seems like the perfect way to set aside the distractions of everyday life and hit reboot on their relationship. That is, until setting up a tent threatens to derail the whole trip.

When Ron gets the stomach flu, Jill jumps to Def Con 1 to keep from catching Ron's illness.

When the Stevensons move, Jill's imperious sister Bella volunteers herself to help. Before long, Bella's rigid principles annoy both Ron and Jill. But when Ron forgets Jill's birthday, he teams up with Bella for a last minute solution.

When Ron invites his old roommate Denny to stay with them indefinitely, Jill does her best to keep an open mind. However, when she actually meets Ron's bizarre roommate, and he begins to invade her perfectly ordered life with his eccentric tendencies, her open mind begins closing real fast.
