Joey has the misfortune of being in a store when it gets robbed. After being interviewed for disrupting the robbery, the robbers show up at the Surf Shop and take him hostage. Both the Robbers/Kidnappers are crazy, and they videotape everything (always a good idea when committing a crime). They decide to take another hostage, this time a female (Sue), while at the same time leaving a videotape. Mick and Chris watch it, trying to figure out where Joey might be. Mick hears a fog horn, so they know they must be near the harbor. By the time they get there, everyone is ...

Dee Dee visits Joey and brings her niece Hallie with her. Hallie witnesses a murder, and trouble ensues.

Joey rents out the shop to a TV production company to film a TV series "Bikini Patrol" . Mick is not happy about it, but Joey signed a contract, so there's nothing he can do. There's also a new girl in town - Patty, who is taking Annie's place - neither are very good actresses, but Patty (Krista Allen) is slightly better. Joey went to High School with the star of the Show (Heather Landis), but he stood her up at Prom, so he has that working against him. Someone tries to run Heather down with an ATV, and Mick saves her. Then another "accident" on the set also comes ...

Mick and Joey help their friends accused of espionage.

An old high school girlfriend hires Mick and Joey to keep her from turning into a werewolf during the full moon. They do their best, but she eludes them.

Mick and Joey are supposed to meet Bob-O to go sailing on a yacht, but end up in a raft instead, where all their supplies get lost, and it takes them to an island where they run into some treasure hunters, who are less than helpful.

Mick and Joey arrive to visit an old friend and find he was killed in a diving accident which doesn't seem right.

An extortionist is using arson to frighten the shopkeepers.

While Mick and Joey are gathering evidence of a husband's infidelity, Mick's 1966 Mustang is stolen and they stumble on a gang of car thieves.

A beautiful professional beach volleyball player, a friend of the Barrett brothers, is kidnapped by a gang of Mexicans. The criminals have learned that the shapely blonde's father faked his own death years ago and plan to use his daughter as hero-bait to coax him into the open for a final showdown.

A pretty girl is shocked when her mother deserts her and asks the Barretts to find her. The mother has been wanted by the police for twenty years on a murder charge.

Joey's old friend from high school shows up and Mick isn't happy about it because he thinks he will get Joey in trouble. He is right.

The Barretts get mixed up with some Central American rebels expecting a gun delivery, when all the Barretts were expecting was to put on a surfing camp.

After a close call with the firing squad, Ron still wants to hunt for treasure, but they run into more trouble from the General.

A woman who teaches preschool by day and strips by night has two problems: a troubled son and a blackmailer who threatens to expose her night job to her day employers.

Mick and Joey agree that the one that makes the most profit in the store will get 1% ownership from the other and become the major owner.
