A mummified body is found bricked up in the basement of a suburban home leading Harrow and Grace to investigate a crime from the past.

Harrow invetsigates a case in North Queensland. While he is now convinced that Chester is dead, Simon isn't so sure.

To distract him, Harrow is assigned a death by electrocution. He's not convinced it was an accident when he seems to find a link to Simon.

When they're sent to the Outback together to investigate a multiple death collision, Harrow learns things about Fairley's past which surprise him.
