As Erasmus the preacher returns from missionary work in faraway lands, Ned's new shepherd arrives lost in 'Hafod Haidd'. Whilst Megan fights off the shepherd's amorous advances,none are aware that Erasmus has contracted a tropical disease. As his fever increases, Erasmus attempts to kill all at 'Hafod Haidd' as he brandishes a samurai sword. Gron manages to subdue him and sneakily delivers him to Ned's farm. When an unsuspecting Bet and Ned are also threatened by Erasmus, the local policeman is summoned who subdues him with an animal tranquilizer gun.

Gron and Evan and Megan decide to compete with Ned and Bet,by setting up their own B&B at 'Hafod Haidd'.As a B&B inspector arrives at Ned's farm, he's unaware that his wife Bet was awaiting her for their yearly tourist guide approval. Scheming against his rivals at 'Hafod Haidd' he sends the inspector to them, awaiting their venture to be closed down. However,whilst at Hafod Haidd, Gron, Evan and Megan offer the inspector such a unique B&B experience in their filthy farmhouse, it gains them a top rating in the yearly tourist guide, much to Ned's dismay.

As Megan defends herself against the increasing amorous advances of Ned's new shepherd,Gron attends the local dog trials, where an inspector from the Animal Protection Society threatens to visit 'Hafod Haidd'. Fearing the filthy condition of his own farm,Gron and Megan hedge a plot to send the inspector to Ned's and assume it to be their own. With Ned and Bet out of the way, they take over Ned's farm and home. As Gron pretends to be Ned, Megan dresses up as as Bet,when her unfamiliarity to her surroundings, fancy clothes, high heels,and make-up and lead to hilarious ...

The community gather for a country and western concert in the local pub, where Megan dresses up as a cow girl and starts a romance with the band manager. Elis, Ned's shepherd, becomes jealous and decides to try and win her over by purchasing a new moped. Later that evening the police stop Dai A.I, who is told he needs to re-take his driving test. When Gron and Evan help Dai prepare for his test and Elis learns to ride his moped,craziness ensues. The long standing rivalry between Evan, Gron and Ned heats up to boiling a point, when Ned challenges an aging Evan to a boxing match in the local pub's parking lot. After weeks of training 'Rocky' style, the big day arrives.As Evan enter's the ring, the hidden horseshoes in his boxing gloves are discovered and he is nearly disqualified. But when Ned arrives as the soon to be self proclaimed champion, he falls head over heels in to the ring only and knocks himself out. Evan is declared the champion.

Following a series of crimes, Erasmus the preacher takes a young offender under his wing, as PC Roberts goes away on a training course, leaving his police dog at 'Hafod Haidd'. Whilst Bet is away to pick up her new pet poodle, Ned disturbs an intruder in their home and knocks himself unconscious, which results in a personality change. Now a pleasant individual, he's eager to show off the new poodle at 'Hafod Haidd', where he divulges that he's offering an award to catch the burglar. Gron, Megan and Evan conspire to win the reward, formulate a trap, and with the help ...
