After a dodgy 'audition,' Evie Stevens (Belinda Kirwan) and Lucy Lew (Nina Nicols) visit their agent Cha Cha Rogers (Abbe Holmes) and beg her to help them get a break. This leads to a life-changing audition with Entertainment Industry heavyweight Casting Director Kiki Kramer (Jo Stanley). Luckily, the girls' latest soul-destroying casual job at 'Cherry's Carwash' comes with some perks thanks to their new boss Peppe De Luca (Chris Fortuna).

Lucy (Nina Nicols) and Evie (Belinda Kirwan) learn more about Peppe (Chris Fortuna) and his creative business practices and the girls' best mate and Live-in-Landlord Tommy McFarlane (Dave O'Neil) attempts to continue working professionally as a musician at a brand new venue.

Evie (Belinda Kirwan) and Lucy (Nina Nicols) decide to risk it all to save their reputations and rope Tommy (Dave O'Neil) into helping them. Tommy endures more 'Morning Melodies' hell and the trio discovers that the casting couch really does exist.

After blowing their entire weekly wage on a little retail therapy, Evie (Belinda Kirwan) rekindles her tumultuous relationship with the jet-setting enigmatic Television Producer Chad Morrison (Lawrence Mooney) and Lucy learns that Hans De Kretser (MARK COLES SMITH) is not only a Radical Marxist freedom fighter but also a talented beat poet.

Upon their agent - Cha Cha's (Abbe Holmes) request, Evie (Belinda Kirwan) and Lucy (Nina Nicols) get new headshots with Auteur photographer Louie McGregor (Paul Ireland). Tommy (Dave O'Neil) keeps secretly making ends meet at the RSL and Cha Cha shares some shocking news with the girls.

After a hard day's work at 'Cherry's Carwash,' Peppe (Chris Fortuna) invites Lucy (Nina Nicols) and Evie (Belinda Kirwan) back to his place for dinner. The girls and Peppe get to know each other a whole lot better and Peppe makes them a lucrative entertainment industry deal that the girls find difficult to refuse........or not.
