A distraught Aled faces a hearing at school and anger from the community - and staff members. Ceri and Steph try to support him. Annest starts maternity leave, and her cover arrives at the worst moment.

Two months later, and Beth, Gwyn's wife, joins the staff while their son Bleddyn starts Year 10. Math is promoted to head of sixth form, but Colin, Annest and Aled are not back at work. Ceri receives a threatening letter.

Math has some budget ideas and Eurig feels left out. Annest claims she's ready to return to work, but Steph isn't as sure. Bleddyn is being harassed and Nicky suggests setting up a support system at the school.

Macs goes to extreme lengths to feel better about himself and worries Nicky. Ceri gives evidence in Aled's trial but the threats against them escalate.

Aled goes on the stand at his trial. Mei's rowdy niece shows up at the school. Math and Annest find it difficult to communicate. Steph visits Llywela, who's recovering at home, and learns some surprising details about her.

Math returns home in the morning and finds that Annest has left. Llywela returns to work. Beth decides to join Ceri on the 5K running challenge in place of Aled.

A new student teacher arrives, a familiar face to Math - who's just announced his and Annest's wedding is back on. Donna and Eurig clash over plans to raise funds for Macsen. Dylan and Lucy discover some truths at a sex education class.

Lucy breaks up with Dylan in public. Bledd sneaks alcohol to school. Preparations are made for Annest and Math's hen/stag parties - and those end up very different evenings.

Nicky's world is turned up side down. Colin is scheduled for a home visit on the day of the wedding and Donna stresses over preparing. Twm visits the school.

On the day of the wedding, Math can't handle his guilty conscience anymore, while Bledd and Kayleigh struggle with their own. Steph visits Eurig in hospital. Dylan goes alone to see his dad.
