Ritsuka Uenoyama meets Mafuyu Sato one day in his normal napping spot. Ritsuka ends up fixing Mafuyu's guitar, which leads to Mafuyu pestering Ritsuka to teach him guitar over and over. Ritsuka declines over and over but somehow, after seeing how passionate Mafuyu is about learning guitar, Ritsuka starts to remember how he felt when he first started playing music.

Uenoyama finally agrees to teach Sato the Guitar and discovers that Sato has a surprising talent.

Uenoyama has asked Sato to join his band but Sato's response leaves Uenoyama confused.

Uenoyama has thrown himself back into his music (and teaching Mafuyu) with such passion that others are noticing.

The band agrees that Mafuyu should write the lyrics for the song Uenoyama is writing. Haruki shares how he first met Akihiko and how the band got started.

Uenoyama struggles to understand his feeling towards Mafuyu after his classmate shares a rumor about his middle school relationships.

Akihiko reflects on his first love and uses that wisdom to help Uenoyama and Mafuyu grow as their first live gig looms before them.

Mafuyu struggles to process his feelings while the other band member's try to stay calm as the show date arrives.
