Peter Hatcher and his family are going on vacation in Maine. Only problem: Peter's nemesis Sheila Tubman will also be there along with her family! And as if that wasn't bad enough, Peter's 5 year-old brother Fudge wreaks havoc with a little girl who lives next door to them at their vacation house. Based on the popular book of the same name by Judy Blume, it recaps all the exciting moments, from when Dad falls off the boat, Peter meets his baseball idol, and even the climatic moment when Peter's grandmother and Sheila's grandfather get married!

Peter is given a pet turtle as a party favor. He quickly names him Dribble and warns his little brother Fudge to stay away. Meanwhile, Peter's folks, are entertaining a client from Dad, Warren's advertising agency. Over dinner there is much talk about the fancy, but disgusting, brands of soup the client wishes to promote. This inspires Fudge to create an exotic soup of his own.

Fudge devises a way to save money for his parent's anniversary gift.

Peter is appalled that Fudge will attend his school.

Fudge unwittingly is cast in a TV commercial.

Fudge gets his head caught in the kitchen plumbing.

Peter wants to spend a nice Saturday with his friends, but his plans are ruined by Fudge's birthday party.

Peter and Jimmy Fargo are assigned to work with nemesis Sheila Tubman.

When Fudge's fear keeps Peter awake, Peter suggests getting a pet.

After Fudge's favorite toy is destroyed, Peter offers him his duck.
