Behlul came from France after travel there. Beker and Nehad are arranging for the wedding which is refused by Nehad father "Helmy" who think Beker family is looking for money benefits. Adnan meets Behtar at the cemetery, asking her to marry.

Firdevs is setting her cap for Adnan, but Bihter has already accepted a marriage proposal from him. They are not telling anyone until his kids can accept it. Behlül comes home the morning after Peyker's wedding hung-over, but takes the kids out on the boat. Firdevs and Bihter find out they are nearly bankrupt. The check from Nihat doesn't cover all the debts. Firdevs and her family go to dinner at Adnan's. Adnan unknowingly breaks Mdmslle's heart by asking her to help prepare Nihal for his marriage to Bihter. Adnan tells Behlül and it rocks him. Nihal is very upset ...

Firdevs angrily accuses Bihter of destroying her dreams on purpose. The house staff at Adnan's don't like the idea, either. Behlül continues his teasing of Nihal. Nihal finds her father's sculpture of Bihter. The one of herself was put away in a drawer and not finished. She takes it from the workshop. Behlül's model girlfriend Elif arrives home from Italy. Bülent is totally happy about his father's upcoming marriage. The kids go to Arsen's farm. She is Adnan's sister. Elif is glad about the marriage, too, because she sees Bihter as a rival for Behlül. Behlül laughs ...

Nihal is jealous of her father's relationship with Bihter. Whole family makes a trip to Aunt Arsen's farm. Hilmi tries to take back his money from Firdevs.

Nihat is disinherited by Hilmi. Behlul finds out about the 1 million lire payment to Firdevs; tells Adnan about it. Cemile tries to frame Beshir for stealing the diamond earring. Behlul gets worried over Nihat's new position.

Behlul leaves the house. Nihal knows Bihter arranged it. Nihat starts work for Adnan's company. Nihal turns 18. Behlul gets caught at the house as Adnan returns during the birthday party. Nihal asks for Behlul's return as a birthday gift.

Behlul comes home. He and the girls are photographed outside a bar and the picture is published. Bihter redecorates for the kids. Bulent calls Bihter "mom" and shocks Nihal.

Hilmi buys up Firdevs' debts. Behlul is starting to look at Bihter differently. Before Adnan can give her the needed money, Firdevs is forced to sign over the mansion to Hilmi, then drives drunk and has a wreck.

Bihter knows Firdevs tried to commit suicide. Peyker feels guilty. Behlul consoles Bihter. Deniz tries to get Behlul to see that Nihal has feelings for him. Bihter, Peyker learn the house was sold. Firdevs wakes up.

Bulent, Adnan, Beshir, Nihal and Mdmslle. go to Ankara, leaving Behlul and Bihter at home. Bihter treats Behlul's cold. Behlul is fighting his attraction to Bihter. Nihal thinks Adnan should have married Mdmslle. instead of Bihter.

Firdevs stirs up the household. Behlül finds an excuse to call Bihter. Downstairs wants Beshir to marry Cemile. Hilmi visits Nihat, who spurns him. Bihter is pregnant. Adnan hears her say she doesn't want to have the baby.

Bihter tells Cemile to leave after her fight with Katya. Adnan keeps the workers there and has a big fight with Bihter. Bihter gets an abortion without telling anyone. Adnan is furious. Bihter locks him out of their bedroom.

Bihter apologizes to Adnan with lies. Behlül takes Bihter and Nihal shopping. Adnan and Nihat plan a business trip, but Adnan turns back just to find Bihter being consoled by Behlül, as the cemetery where her father is buried.

Behlül brushes off Elif. He apologizes to Adnan for doubting Bihter's love for Adnan. Firdevs plays Bihter against Nihal. Firdevs confronts Hilmi at the restaurant after Nihal's concert. Peyker goes into labor.

Peyker's baby is born early. Behlül speaks to Nihal as a young woman, not a girl. Bihter tells Firdevs she needs to move out. An old love note from Behlül to Peyker is saved by Bihter instead of thrown away, and Adnan sees it.

Elif rams Behlul's car. New Year's Eve comes - the family at the farm and the downstairs folks at the house. Behlul and Bihter can't stop thinking of each other. Firdevs overhears and misinterprets a conversation between Behlul and Bihter.

Bihter and Behlul are avoiding each other. Deniz finds out about the nightgown escapade and covers for Cemile. Behlul takes Nihal out to dinner and a club. Bihter can't stand it and confronts him. Nihal catches her in his room.

Deniz' old love finds her at the art show. Behlul forces himself back to Elif. Hilmi goes to see baby Doruk. Katya causes misunderstanding downstairs. Behlul brings Elif to dinner, announces their engagement. Nihal and Bihter are stunned.

Nihal faints at Behlul and Elif's news. Doctor suggests psychiatry. Family goes on skiing holiday. Behlul joins them and manages to let Bihter know that he knows she got into his perfume.

Elif is staying in the house. Aynur catches Hilmi talking to her on the phone. Behlul looks directly at Bihter while kissing Elif. Bihter springs a trap on Elif and Hilmi when her parents come to visit. Nihal is asserting herself badly.

Firdevs spends a fortune on Adnan's credit card. Hilmi visits Nihat and Peyker while Aynur is there. He apologizes. Behlul plays piano for the family. Bihter goes to the workshop. Behlul follows and kisses her.

Bihter slaps Behlul. Beshir meets Nihal's friend Deniz. Bihter speeds up the engagement party. Tensions run high. Behlul basically confesses his feelings to Bihter. Nihal holds the ring tray. She cries at the engagement. Adnan sees it.

Mdmslle. tells Adnan about Nihal's love for Behlul. Bihter tires of Firdevs' trying to cause trouble and orders her to leave. Adnan snaps at Behlul for teasing Nihal. Firdevs threatens to tell Adnan everything she thinks is going on.

Bihter caves in to Firdevs' blackmail. Behlul tells Bihter that he's her victim because she is "calling" him. Adnan is hit from all sides by intrigues of Firdevs'. Nihal runs home to keep Beshir from leaving. Firdevs sows more evil seeds.

Firdevs stirs up trouble. Nihat scores big at work. Behlül gets very drunk. Some fishermen call Adnan to pick him up. He keeps saying "I love her" and all, except Bihter, think he's talking about Elif. Bihter knows. Elif returns her rings.

Katya discovers Mdmslle.'s love for Adnan and tells Firdevs. Bihter and Behlul go out for breakfast. She kisses Behlul and he confesses his feelings to her. She denies it. Behlul asks Bihter to meet in the workshop. Adnan finds him there.

Bihter lets Mdmslle. know she has seen the letter. Behlul leaves the house, but Bihter stalks him. Firdevs gambles and loses heavily. Hilmi wants Nihat back in his company. Mdmslle. almost sees Bihter and Behlul kiss.

Behlül begs Bihter to stay away. Firdevs asks Peyker for money. Behlül and Elif make up. Behlül kisses Bihter in the hall. Behlül moves out. Hilmi send police to raid Firdevs' gambling club. She goes to jail.

Because of a secret tip to the police from Hilmi, Firdevs is caught gambling and thus taken to the police station for further investigation.

Thanks to Deniz, Firdevs is taken home from hospital. Only Katya and Deniz know of the suicide attempt. Eventually, Adnan finds out the truth as well. In the meantime, it gets more and more difficult for both Behlül and Bihter to hide their true feelings.

Deniz' suspicions become more acute as she realizes that there is something going on between Behlül and Bihtar.

Nihal sadly witnesses Adnan and Bihter's quarrels. Adnan cannot understand what Bihter was doing in Deniz' room. He is forced to tell Bihter that her mother tried to kill herself and that Deniz is the one who rescued Firdevs. In an attempt to leave everything behind Bihter suggests to run away with Behlül.

Bihter tells Adnan that she wants a divorce and tells Behlül that she will leave Adnan with or without him.

Bihter feels cornered when Behlül changes his mind at the last minute not to go away with her. She immediately calls her mother so that she can get the letter Bihter wrote for her husband before he can read it. Adnan wants Behlül to be an important part in his firm,and sends him to Azerbaijan with Nihat for business matters.

The rumor that Behlül might have had a fatal accident in Azerbaijan brings the Ziyagil family in dismay. Much to everyone's delight Behlül is still alive. After hearing parts of a phone conversation, Nihat suspects that Behlül has an affair and therefore wanted to get back to Istanbul as quickly as possible. His wife Peyker realizes that the woman could be her sister.

Besir witnesses a long-haired woman, whom he mistakes for Nihal, and Behlül kissing on the balcony. Only Deniz realizes that Behlül and Bihter were kissing each other in the middle of the night. Besir openly confronts Behlül with what he saw. Peyker, on the other hand, confronts Bihter with her suspicion. However, she believes that the attraction is one-sided, namely that Behlül alone is interested in her sister.

Behlül accompanies Nihal to her high-school graduation ball, where she graduated with honors as second best. The drunk Bihter calls Behlül to tell him that she loves him. An astonished yet happy Behlül returns her feelings.

Nihal faints in the middle of her examination and is unable to finish it. Behlül ends his engagement with Elif. After an unsuccessful attempt to meet in a hotel, Behlül and Bihter sleep with each other in the garden house. As it turns out, they weren't unobserved.
