After moving in together Aubrey and Kya agree to get rid of items given to them by their former significant others. But both go back on the resolution. Carson's ex returns and wants him back.

Aubrey & Kya's roles reverse at home. At the barbershop, in a last ditch attempt to avoid financial ruin, Carson hires a new male barber, Jonesy, who not only brings in big business but also is hiding a secret of his own.

Aubrey's new female boss makes advances toward him, and Kya thinks he's being unfaithful; and Carson must undergo an audit.

Carson falls for Jonesy and they discuss marriage, so Carson's pals plan a bachelor party. Elsewhere, Kya and Paige clash over their consignment business.

Kya puts a bid on a house but decides to keep the information from Aubrey. Paige almost ruins things with Deshaun when she behaves in a way based on her past experience with men.

Kya and Aubrey test their parenting skills with a fake baby, which they lose. Meanwhile, Paige ponders moving to Los Angeles for a new job, prompting Deshaun to admit his true feelings to her.
