Dr. Zarkoff's request to test his new anti-gravitation device on a remote planet is denied because of the mysterious deaths of most of a recent scientific expedition that recently explored the world. The sole survivor's wild tale of an idol's curse is dismissed by Flash and he, Dale and Zarkoff return to the planet to investigate.

Flash and Zarkov come to the rescue when a criminal with a time machine kidnaps Dale.

Flash and friends battle a deity who rules a planet where all life is comprised of metal.

Exiled for a century, the evil Rabeed returns with a plan to destroy the galaxy.

The space patrol sends Flash's best friend to investigate a planet where it is reported that mercy is a crime and the weak are exploited. The agent is captured, brainwashed and sent back to murder Flash. Thanks to Dale's timely intervention, Flash survives the attack, and the pair are sent back to the world to learn how Flash's friend was tricked into trying to assassinate his friend.

Flash and his cohorts come to the aid of a prospector and his daughters who are threatened by claim jumpers.

Flash and friends are held captive in a machine which incites men to suicide.

Dale is sent to a prison world to repair the machinery used to create oxygen, without which not only the ruthless prisoners, but the warden and his guards would soon perish. Flaggert, the most notorious murderer in the galaxy manages to break out of his cell and hides on Flash Gordon's spaceship in order to make good his escape and have his revenge on the man who sent him to prison in the first place.

Nefarious agents disrupt Zarkov's plans to restore life to dead worlds.

Androids - indestructible, human-like robots - were outlawed three hundred years in the past; their locations, the radio frequency they respond to and their power source closely guarded galactic secrets. A world-ruler bent on galactic domination has learned the first two secrets and with the help of a ruthless secret agent plans to force Flash Gordon to reveal the location of the power source by torturing Dale Arden until he cracks.

Over the Commissioner's objections, the Galactic Counsel has released Queen Tridentia, the ruler who started the last galactic war, from prison. The president of the counsel believes the Queen is no longer a threat, not knowing of her plans to steal the plans for a spaceship that can travel faster than the speed of light, thereby going back in time to alter the course of the last war.

The Cygnii have squandered their worldly resources over the thousands of years and now exist as a third-rate planet. Their queen is determined to bring their planet back to prominence by creating a death-ray that operates by changing normal light into it's negative, thereby reducing the content of oxygen to deadly levels.
