The narrator explains how a flood took away land from the south coast and how it affected the aboriginals thousands of years ago. We hear experts' opinions about the boomerang and its origins, we see many rock paintings and their meanings. Stories are told by Aboriginals and these stories are compared to what scientists know to be true. The great flood ended 5 thousand years ago, and 1/4 of the land in Australia had disappeared.
