In the pilot episode of Film Banter, movie enthusiasts Chris Pickhardt and Daryl K. Smith share their favorite films of all time.

For their second episode, Chris and Daryl review and discuss the actors they most admire as well as talk about the following films: The Magnificent Seven, War Dogs, Sully, Café Society, Suicide Squad , Cloud Atlas and Jason Bourne.

In their third episode, the guys discuss Peter Berg's Deepwater Horizon and Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, among many more films.

In this week's entry, Chris and Daryl covered A LOT of films, beginning with Oliver Stone's Snowden and the Emily Blunt thriller Girl on a Train. For the show's fifth installment, Chris and Daryl had a lively discussion about Ben Affleck's thriller The Accountant, as well as The Birth of a Nation, which upon its release was overshadowed by a scandal involving the film's director. They also covered the following films: Warrior, Nerve, The Nice Guys, Lost River, The Brothers Grimsley, the Frankenstein Bluray Box Set, the Hammer Horror Films Box Set and lastly, the flashback: Laurel and Hardy's Blockheads.

This week the guys discussed a nice crop of films, top-lined by Tom Cruise's newest vehicle, the thriller Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, which was a sequel to the first Jack Reacher film.

On this week's offering, the guys covered Ron Howard's Inferno, the latest installment in the Robert Langdon series starring Tom Hanks, which are based on the mystery-thriller novels by Dan Brown. In addition the following films were also discussed: Sausage Party, Ordinary World, Anthropoid, Blood Father, Sea of Trees (briefly), Star Trek Beyond / Into Darkness (briefly), Bad Moms (briefly). They also talked about the flashbacks Breakdown and Cleopatra.

In addition to the week's big releases Hacksaw Ridge and Marvel's Doctor Strange, Chris and Daryl talked about the following movies: In a Valley of Violence, The BFG, Anomalisa, Bridget Jones' Baby and the flashbacks: Taxi Driver and East of Eden.

The guys spent considerable time talking about Denis Villeneuve's newest existential film Arrival. They also discussed: Into the Forest, True Memoirs of an International Assassin, Bleeding Heart, The Big Short, The Purge: Election Year and the flashbacks: The King of Comedy and McCabe and Mrs. Miller. This entry was the subject of some technical glitches on their webcam, so they had to broadcast the show from a cell phone.

This week's discussion was jam-packed with films. In addition to talking about JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the guys covered: Hologram for the King, Eye in the Sky, By the Sea, Come and Find Me, Predestination, The Dressmaker, Beasts of No Nation, Suicide Squad (extended cut), Being Flynn, Snowden (again) and the flashbacks: A Bridge on the River Kwai and The Ministry of Fear.

The guys had a very in-depth discussion about the eventual Oscar contender Manchester by the Sea. Chris and Daryl also talked about the World War 2 thriller Allied, Nocturnal Animals, Bad Santa 2, Masterminds, Cardboard Boxer, The Whole Truth and The Lobster.

On this week's episode, films new to home viewing platforms were discussed, including: The Phenom, The Beatles: Eight Days a Week, Rupture, Yoga Hosers and Equity. Also discussed was the first season of Netflix's Black Mirror.

This week's discussed new releases were Miss Sloane and Manchester by the Sea. Also reviewed were: Rupture, Pet, Hardcore Henry, The Light Between Oceans and The Disappointments Room, all new to home viewing platforms.

The guys had a lively conversation about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, where their opinions of the film differed greatly. Also covered was La La Land, followed by the horror film Incarnate and some films new to home viewing platforms.

The guys covered a lot of new releases this week, including: Fences, Jackie starring Natalie Portman, Passengers, as well as Assassin's Creed, Office Christmas Party, Nocturnal Animals, Deepwater Horizon and Birth of a Nation.

List shows are always a lot of fun, so this week the guys each shared their ten favorite films of the year. There were some over-lapping choices and many differences, which always make things more interesting.

The guys covered the new releases Hidden Figures and Lion, as well as Why Him? and Keeping Up with the Joneses. New home viewing films discussed were: The Autopsy of Jane Doe, The Girl with All the Gifts, Denial, I Am Here and Dog Eat Dog.

Ben Affleck's latest film Live By Night was the big new release discussed along with Martin Scorsese's Silence. The newly released films for home viewing, Captain Fantastic and Officer Downe were discussed.

This week Chris and Daryl discussed the Academy Award nominations, as well as the new releases xxx: The Return of Xander Cage, The Founder and Split. The guys also talked about Moonlight as well as touching on Silence, and Fences again.

This week the guys discussed the new releases: Gold, A Monster Calls, Hell or High Water and Jackie. For the home viewing segment they talked about: The Edge of Seventeen, American Pastoral and Alone In Berlin.

On this week's episode, the guys discussed the horror reboot "Rings," Robert DeNiro's latest film "The Comedian," the inspiring story of love and racial tension "Loving," Michael Keaton in "The Founder," the origin story of McDonald's, as well as "Paterson" and "Trespass Against US." Also covered were "Boo. A Madea Halloween" and Richard Gere's homeless drama "Time Out of Mind."

Chris and Daryl covered A LOT this week; including the new releases "Lion," "The Lego Batman Movie," "John Wick: Chapter 2" and "50 Shades Darker." For films newly released for home viewing, the guys discussed "Alone in Berlin," "Last Love (aka Mr. Morgan's Last Love)," "Francis Foster Jenkins" and the documentary "De Palma," about filmmaker Brian De Palma. They also jumped into the past to cover a couple flashback titles, including 1998's "Dark City" and the Terrence Malick masterpiece "Days of Heaven."

This week, Matt Damn's latest adventure film "The Great Wall" was discussed, followed by the psychological horror film "A Cure for Wellness," "20th Century Women" and the comedy "Fist Fight." For this week's home viewing segment, the guys reviewed Warren Beatty's "Rules Don't Apply," "Shepherds and Butchers," starring Steve Coogan, "Shut In" and Kate Winslet and Hugo Weaving in "The Dressmaker." Lastly, the flashbacks "Dark Mirror (1946)" and "The Money Pit (1986)" were covered.

The guys began this week's show by discussing the Oscars, followed by Jordan Peele's horror debut "Get Out." "Collide" was covered next, with "I Don't Feel At Home in This World Anymore" starring Elijah Wood was discussed afterwards, with a follow-up discussion on the comedy "Fist Fight."

The guys had a full plate this week, starting with Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine film, "Logan." Then they discussed the Will Smith drama "Collateral Beauty," followed by yet another Resident Evil sequel, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." Next, "The Assignment," starring Michelle Rodriguez was covered, followed by Michael Shannon in "Frank and Lola," "War On Everyone," with Alexander Skarsgard and finally "Department Q: The Keeper of Lost Causes," the first in a series of an outstanding Danish crime dramas. Lastly, the 1968 Jack Nicholson film, "Psych-Out" and 1962'...

Yet again the guys had a heavy roster of films to cover this week. They started with Disney's live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast," followed by the Shia LaBeouf PTSD drama "Man Down," "Kong: Skull Island," "The Belko Experiment," the Guy Pearce thriller "Brimstone," "Desierto with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ray Liotta in "Sticky Notes" and Jessica Chastain's riveting political drama "Miss Sloane." Also covered was "Breaking Bad: The Movie," which was a fan film edit of the groundbreaking TV show, followed by "The Crooked Man," the horror film "Incarnate," Jennifer ...

Terrence Malick's latest film "Song to Song" started off this week's show, followed by the Sci-Fi thriller "Life," with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal and a bunch of film's now available for home viewing; beginning with "Mean Dreams," starring the late Bill Paxton, followed by the inspiring film "A United Kingdom," and an in-depth discussion of the "Department Q" Trilogy, which is a Danish series of crime films focusing on cold cases. Also covered were "Gimme Danger," Woody Allen's "Café Society" starring Kristin Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, "Clinical," "Don't ...

This week's entry began with the new theatrical releases "Going in Style" and "Ghost in the Shell." Then the guys discussed a roster of titles fresh to home viewing; with the comedy "All Nighter," starring Emile Hirsch and JK Simmons up first, then the horror film "The Bye Bye Man," "The Institute," with James Franco, followed by "Vengeance: A Love Story," starring Nicolas Cage. Finally, the Netflix original series "The OA" prompted an interesting discussion.

This week brought reviews of the family drama "We Don't Belong Here," "Sleepless," with Jamie Foxx, the comedy "Carrie Pilby," the atmospheric horror "Sam Was Here," "Aftermath" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, "The Discovery," "The Void" and the Modern Classic "Mad Max: Fury Road."

This week Chris and Daryl covered the new releases "Personal Shopper," with Kristin Stewart, "Gifted," starring Chris Evans and the latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, "The Fate of the Furious." The new home releases covered began with "Salt and Fire," starring Michael Shannon, Dan Stevens in "The Ticket," the horror film "The Void," the war film "Mine," starring Alexander Skarsgard and the Netflix Originals "Win it All," "Girlfriend's Day" and "Sandy Wexler," with Adam Sandler.

The guys had another busy show this week, starting with the new releases "The Boss Baby," starring Alec Baldwin, "Colossal," with Anne Hathaway and "Unforgettable," with Rosario Dawson and Katherine Heigl. Then a bunch of films now streaming online were covered, beginning with Oprah Winfrey in HBO's "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks," then Martin Sheen in "The Vessel," followed by the animated film "Kubo and the Two Strings" and Al Pacino's latest character study, "Manglehorn." A lot was on the bill of fare for this week and Chris kicked off the show with special guest co-host, The Dark Lord. They began the evening's discussion on Tom Hanks and Emma Watson in "The Circle," "Sleight," "Colossal," Oscar Isaac in "The Promise" and "3 Generations." Daryl's deceased mother Doris stopped by this week to guest host the show with Chris. This week's installment began with an appearance of The Slum Lord, who helped Daryl co-host the show. This week's episode was top-lined by DC's "Wonder Woman," starring the wonderful Gal Gadot. The guys also discussed Netflix's new film, "War Machine," with Brad Pitt and the fascinating documentary, "The Art Life: David Lynch," all about the one of a kind auteur filmmaker's life and unique creative process. The lesbian romance, "Below Her Mouth" was also covered, as well as the thriller "Black Butterfly," starring Antonio Banderas, "Wilson," starring Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern, the Heath Ledger documentary "I Am Heath Ledger," "Don't Hang Up" and "Christine," ...

For this week's Flashback segment, Chris and Daryl discussed the time travel sci-fi film, "Millennium (1989)," "Ikiru (1952)," the unforgettable and haunting Holocaust documentary "Night and Fog (1956)" and "Blow-Up (1966)."
