Tracers was conceived by writer/director John DiFusco who created the play through workshops with a group of Vietnam Vets/actors: Vincent Caristi, Richard Chaves, Eric E. Emerson, Rick Gallavan, Merlin Marston, Harry Stephens, and writer Sheldon Lettich. DiFusco has received several awards, including the New York Drama Desk Award and The Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award. The Loft Ensemble production was directed by Christina Howard and stars Tucker Smallwood, Adam Chambers and Sean Durrie.

The CALLOUS DVD Launch Party was held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Busby's East in Los Angeles, California. CALLOUS has won many awards on the festival circuit, including Best Director (Joey Lanai), Best Actress (Kari Nissena) and four Best Picture Awards. The feature film from Drop Dead Pictures is based on a true story. The CALLOUS DVD Launch Party was organized by Kari Nissena.

Joey Lanai's film "Callous" has won many awards on the festival circuit, including Best Director (Joey Lanai), Best Actress (Kari Nissena) and four Best Picture Awards. The feature film was also produced by Drop Dead Pictures. Lanai directed "Callous" and the film, based on a true story, was written by Chris Billett and Lanai.

During the EOE segment, which was taped at the Time Warner studios in Costa Mesa, Calif., Heising and Stanley Goodrich interview Brian Delizareaux and Xu Razer, the creative geniuses behind "Enemy Mind." The two also star in the film, along with renowned Oscar-winning actor, Ernest Borgnine, who was named a recipient of the Screen Actor's Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.

Eric Seats is an accomplished drummer to the stars, single father of one daughter, mentor and now an Executive Producer of the "Next Great Drummer". "The Next Great Drummer" show will follow aspiring drummers on a nationwide tour, covering contestants as they compete for the title of "top drummer" in their city. Seats is the featured drummer on the new Omarion music video and is the host for the Nationwide Next Great Drummer Competitions.

Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment interviewed Kevin Sorbo, who is currently working on nine films, including "Poolboy 2: Drowning Out the Fury". The film was written by Ross Patterson and directed by Garrett Brawith. The sound production on "Poolboy 2" was done by Gordon Michael.

The Shriekfest opening night party took place at the B 52 Club in Hollywood. "H1N1: Virus X" was an official selection of Shriekfest 2010, and the film made its Los Angeles World Premiere on October 1, 2010, the opening night of the festival at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Shriekfest is an international festival and screenplay competition that receives submissions from all over the world. Denise Gossett is the Founder and Festival Director for Shriekfest.

Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment interviewed members of the cast of "Dahmer vs. Gacy" on October 1, 2010 in Huntington Beach, CA. Award-winning producer, writer, director and star Ford Austin kicked off Dahmer vs. Gacy month with a showing of the film at the SoCal Film Festival at the Huntington Beach Library. Dahmer vs. Gacy was released in early 2010. EOE interviewed members of the cast of Dahmer vs. Gacy at the SoCal Festival party, including Austin, Bonnie Aarons, Elissa Dowling, Jed Rowen and Jamie Carson.

GOLDEN BOY tells the story of Scott Wong, an up-and-coming Hollywood screenwriter. As Scott makes his way through the madcap world of Hollywood's film and television industry, he is helped by Naomi, his actress girlfriend, and Albert "Bert" Reynolds, his "big time" agent.

"The Things We Carry", written by and starring Alyssa Lobit and produced by Athena Lobit, screened at the 2010 ID Film Fest. The film was directed by Ian McCrudden and cast by Freddy Luis.

ScaryorDie.com is a horror destination site created by Michael Emanuel and fellow filmmaker partners Igor Meglic, David Reivers and Bruce Johnson in support of other filmmakers and their fans to upload, view and vote on horror shorts, original series and feature films. At ScaryorDie.com, the content that gets the most favorable votes will get the best placement on the site. Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment recently interviewed Richard Myles and Mischa Perez of Viper Productions about DeadZone Magazine, the Apple iPhone's first and only interactive horror magazine, and about their upcoming film Mental Scars 2. Founded in 2007 by Myles and Perez, Viper Productions announced that the sequel to their cult classic Mental Scars will begin production in the spring of 2011. Mental Scars 2 will star Myles and Said Faraj and will be directed by Perez.

Creep Creepersin premiered his new web series "Monster Killers Club (MKC) on DreadCentral.com in October 2010. The series debuts a new show each Wednesday night on DreadCentral.com, but MKC can be seen all through the week on the all-things-horror website. In MKC, viewers can follow this unlikely group of friends as they begin to realize there really are things that go bump in the night and they may be the only ones who can save the world from the forces of darkness that beset their town.

Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment interviewed John DiFusco and John Stark of "Nightsong for the Boatman", a guest production at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles, CA. "Nightsong for the Boatman" was written by Jovanka Bach and is produced and directed by John Stark. The show runs from November 19 through December 20, 2010 at the Odyssey Theatre. The show will then move to the Barrows Theatre in New York in January 2011.

The API (Asian Pacific Islander) community came together to give "Two Minutes to Save Lives" at MAPID Studios in North Hollywood, CA. Spurred on by the recent tragic loss of gay teens due to bullying, as well as the rash of anti-Asian violence in Philadelphia and the history of low voter turnout by APIs, Pan Asian Community Together was formed. The event was organized by Ken Choy and Kelvin Han Yee.

The Boobs and Blood International Film Festival sponsored the Los Angeles premiere of 'Nude Nuns with Big Guns', as part of the Bowling for Boobies charity for breast cancer awareness. There were topless nun go-go dancers, a band and fun galore. The Los Angeles premiere of 'Nude Nuns with Big Guns' took place on November 3 at the Laemmle Theatre in Santa Monica, CA.

(818) is the new feature from director Bob King, whose last film was the cult hit Psycho Beach Party, starring Amy Adams and Lauren Ambrose. (818) stars Beth Broderick as Alyssa Rampart Pillage, a washed up former TV queen whose glory days are well behind her.

Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment interviewed acclaimed writer, director, producer Frederick Friedel at the Time Warner Cable studio in Costa Mesa, CA. Friedel, whose credits include "Axe" and "Kidnapped Co-ed," discusses his newest project, "A Dog's Life," a poignant drama about a homeless deaf mute who loses the dog he can't live without. Friedel describes "A Dog's Life" as "a love story that brings together the world of the homeless and the forgotten dogs in animal shelters. Heising appears in the film as a homeless drug addict.

Eye on Entertainment covered the red carpet as The Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment (CAPE) presented its annual "CAPE Soiree" at Vibiana.

Eye on Entertainment covered the December 2010 BleedFest Film Festival at the CAP Theatre in Sherman Oaks, California on December 5, 2010. The BleedFest Film Festival was founded by Elisabeth and Brenda Fies in 2009 and features monthly screenings of genre films by female filmmakers. One of the Top 10 Sexiest Scream Queens, Tara Cardinal, was featured in the premiere of "Faux".
