When the network launches a competition to get the cast and crews of their shows to "trim it down a notch," all of Emeril's crew reluctantly try to lose weight to win the $100,000 prize.

When Jerry talks Emeril into being featured on a prime-time news magazine show, each of his coworkers hog the camera and try to take credit for the chef's success.

When Emeril sets up Cass and Melva on blind dates, the results aren't what he intended.

When the networks orders an additional 20 episodes of his show, Emeril finds himself struggling to juggle his career with his life as a husband and father.

Cassandra haplessly sets up a deal with a mobster to get wholesale beef for the show.

Jerry and Emeril sneak away to get liposuction as Trish attempts to keep the crew in line at the annual Halloween party.

After Jerry spontaneously walks onto Emeril's show, their banter is such a hit that Trish insists he appears regularly... but problems quickly arise when Jerry becomes an egomaniac.

The staff is forced to abandon their plans for the evening when they get snowed into the office. Meanwhile, Emeril suspects that his wife's new friend Gary may not be gay.

The Food Channel forces Emeril and his staff to attend a weekend retreat, where they run into Bo Derek, who's speaking at a seminar. The female staffers are envious of Bo, while Jerry comes up with an inventive way to catch her eye.

Melva's grandmother and Dom DeLuise appear on the show, each sporting their own cornbread recipes. When Emeril chooses DeLuise's as the best, all hell breaks loose as the residents of Harlem protest the show.
