The use of applications with artificial intelligence is spreading globally. Kris, an editor in chief in a newspaper company, is trying to resist using those apps when his wife Pia asks him to join her in researching artificial mind.

Pia uses her Mimet during therapy sessions to help the research team with the upgrade and confronts the Professor with ethics and responsibility, whilst Kris eventually loses his doubts and fears.

Kris gets closer to Hana at work, while his relationship with Jakob is becoming strained. Pia and Bostjan find they have made enemies.

Kris and Pia have to deal with the loss of their friend. The professor tells Pia of his actions, which deepens her despair, while Kris has to make a decision about Ajda's future.

We travel a year into the past and see Kris and Pia's life with the Mimets from a different perspective. How will they face the consequences?
