Dr. K treats Tazz, a normally rambunctious squirrel monkey who is lethargic and unresponsive. Shakia, a Sulcata tortoise, is attacked by the family dog and rushed into the clinic for treatment, which proves to be particularly challenging for Dr. G. Jake the Guinea Pig comes to the clinic because of repeated bouts of bladder stones, and Dr. K has some bad news for his owners.

A pair of Amazons who were viciously attacked by a dog are rushed into the clinic, presenting Dr. K with a huge challenge. Meanwhile, Dr. Thielen needs to figure out why a young ferret appears malnourished and in bad condition. Dr. K bends her "No dogs" rule for her dad, who brings in his dog for her to take a look at. Dr. Thielen treats a dehydrated baby sugar glider fighting for its life.

A 35-year-old Amazon parrot has a growth on his leg and a history of its heart stopping under anesthesia. Dr. K needs to sedate this little bird to investigate further, but must balance that with the risk of the bird's heart stopping again. Dr. T has to deal with a rare albino ball python suffering from a respiratory infection, causing alarming difficulty breathing.

A beloved seven-year-old rabbit is brought in with a badly injured leg. After learning she has a fractured foot, Dr. K must perform complicated orthopedic surgery. A marmoset is not acting quite herself. It's a complicated case, so Dr. K calls for a mobile CT scan to be performed. On a field trip to the Everglades Outpost, Dr. T and vet-tech Tom meet a two-year-old wolf with a serious eye problem.

Pixel, an eight-year-old dwarf rabbit, is brought in by her owners because she is very bloated. Meanwhile, Webster, a blue and gold macaw, comes in with an eye problem. Dr. K believes there is a strong possibility that Webster will need surgery to fix it.
