Ethel discovers that she can do the family grocery shopping with a home computer, but ends up ordering 10 of everything the store has; Lissy goes on a hunger strike to get Duane to help a hungry Central American child.

Richard goes into business with the elderly son of Ethyl's employer from her previous life.

When Ethyl decides she's not equipped to help the Prestons, Mr. Divine shows her what a bleak future the family would have without her influence.

In his attempt to win the class election, Duane becomes a tyrant. Meanwhile, Ethyl takes driving lessons.

The children's eccentric aunt (Richard's sister-in-law) visits and rubs Ethel the wrong way.

Preparations for the wedding of a cousin of the family lead Ethel to mistakenly believe that Richard is going to propose to her.

Ethel intervenes when a female spy of a rivaling business tries to double-cross Richard. Meanwhile, Lissy stages a protest against sexism at school when she learns girls can't take wood shop classes.

In preparation for his class reunion, Richard goes to great lengths to make himself feel younger.

When Richard goes out of town, a war of practical jokes between Duane and Lissy begins. Meanwhile, Mr. Divine summons Ethel to Heaven for her Angel Progress Examination not long before a burglar breaks into the house.

When Duane goes to work at his dad's real estate office, he accidentally sells the family's home to a kooky spiritualist and her husband.
