Nobita wishes to patch things up with Shizuka after she gets upset with him for missing their meet up. To do this, Doraemon gives him a thread gadget that will will bring the two together if Nobita ties a knot on both Shizuka's hand and his. Nobita proceeds to find Shizuka and tie the knot on her hand to make her forgive him, but it doesn't go as planned.
