Maria has to undergo a major operation and the outcome is uncertain. Four years later Robbert and his girlfriend Pip took over the general practice. Isa and her husband Freek moved into the home of Doctor Deen. There they take care of Femke, the child of Maria's third child Wendy. It is unclear how Maria is and whether she is still alive.
