Mark tries to transition to a new life post Communion, but finds himself wrapped in dreams from the past.

In a decayed suburban house, Mark tries in vain to hide away from Communion's poisonous temptations.

Communion's offices are those of a fledgling film company, buzzing under Mark's direction. Yet its management still includes Michael, behind whose twinkly exterior there still lurks as much sinister power as when Mark was brought on board.

Michael lets their colleague Marlene into the bloodthirsty reality of the company she works for, enticing her with the prospect of re-birthing herself as a kind of queen; while Mark forms his own alliance with lead actress Lisa.

The new hunger of Marlene's blood-lust is as unsatisfied as Michael's is, by Mark's sending them bloodthirsty videos starring Lisa, which are surely designed to taunt them with the lack of any real meat being harvested for them.

To spare Lisa the destiny that awaits her in the company, Mark demonstrates his power to slow her heart down and tries to free her by sacking her. But is it too late for her to escape the murderous net that Michael is tightening round her?
