Young Moritz is keen on the tractor but Uwe can't afford much. When Rose walks in the woods with dog Dolly, Frau Oldendorf intercepts Dolly and takes the dog with her. Hexe, Merle and Rose pay her a visit.

Vanessa wants to see Timo. Tobias, who is in love with her, brings her to Timo who performs as band leader on a fashion show. Hexe struggles with her feelings because she soon goes to Spain as exchange student and already misses everybody.

Too much is asked from Uwe. When little Moritz causes almost a serious accident, Uwe reacts harsh and Moritz runs away. Carla isn't at home. Her son Timo celebrates with friends until neighbors complain about the noise.

Niklas does a scientific school experiment in the hen house. Moritz finds a hidden grenade there. Niklas is sad because he can't finish his science project. Explosive experts take control over the hen house; a journalist is on the yard.

The kids seek presents for Mother's Day. Merle finds it strange that Rose sees Claudia as her mother although she not her natural mother. Moritz seeks an animal to give his mother as a present. Susi bakes a cake for her own mom.

The hen house and Malte's farm store are a mess. Paul gets the blame but the kids soon discover that it must be a raccoon. They decide to catch it. Hexe sends Lisa a picture of her boyfriend, Now everybody thinks he is Lisa's boyfriend.

Macaw Tarzan escapes. Rose and Merle follow the bird to catch it. Niklas gets privileges in chemistry class. Behind teacher's back Diana brings him in trouble. Out of love Niklas doesn't betray her to the teacher.

Julia, formerly known as Hexe, is back. Her boyfriend Manolo arrives. Lisa finds him handsome but sees he loves only her sister. Manolo is asked to take part in a Spanish regatta. A foal is ill and the veterinarian seeks the cause.

The farm shop has almost no clientele since nearby a competitor runs a bio stand. Merle and Rose do not trust this guy and get Malte to help them checking if his merchandise is ecological sound. Moritz look forward to his first school day.

Rose's diary has gone and she suspects especially Niklas. But Niklas discovers who the real perpetrator is; it is the one that can also break open locks. Moritz is annoyed because Malte drives to fast on the yard with his dirt bike.

Timo attends a casting that could boost his music career. Rose comes with him for support but is arranged for the musical "The Lion's King" instead. Carla tries to cheer Timo up. Moritz wants to dress up as a member of the musical.

Merle, Rose and Niklas produce a movie about their farm to present during the day they are open for public. Rebecca comes for a horse riding lesson today and is impatient when Lisa instructs her.
