Kenta Date, a game-playing high schooler, is recruited alongside four other students to unexpectedly become the Megaranger due to the preemptive start of an invasion from the dimension of Neziregia.

After barely escaping from Neziregia to I.N.E.T.'s space headquarters, Kenta rashly returns to Earth to deal with them personally.
