Delta Bishop leaves her husband, gets a job as a waitress in the bar where Patsy Cline got her start, and sets out to see through her dream of becoming a country singer.

Delta causes a rift between Darden and his friend Clayton, who's a record producer.

Delta suffers from an extreme case of insomnia before an audition. Meanwhile, Darden brings a TV to the bar so the patrons can watch a game.

Delta plans a surprise party for Lavonne, but chaos erupts when Buck refuses to attend.

Darden reluctantly agrees to partake in a bachelor auction, where he brings in a surprisingly high bid.

Delta and Connie compete in a basketball game against Buck and Deke.

Delta realizes that if she takes a job as country star Jimmy Word's backup singer, she'll have to sleep with him.

Delta goes on a dream date with dorky Eugene Dorr.

Darden wants to buy a cabin, Delta wants to get a credit card, so the two pretend to be married.

On the day they're set to sign divorce papers, Delta discovers Charlie has a live-in girlfriend. Meanwhile, Darden takes a shine to Lavonne's puppy.

When Darden's daughter Talia comes to visit, Delta realizes that the seemingly perfect young woman is actually very troubled.

Everything goes wrong when Delta tries to impress agent Sandy Scott, "the tune mogul."

Delta's mother comes to visit and pressures her daughter into sharing an apartment. Meanwhile, Sandy gets a cappuccino machine for the bar.

Delta discovers Sandy's secretary Tess can sing.

Delta's mother goes out with Sandy's boss. Meanwhile, Buck takes over as cook at the Green Lantern.

Delta hijacks Thelma and Lavonne's trip to a hairdresser's convention and detours them to Patsy Cline's grave.

Delta falls for Wes, a singer at the Green Lantern, but she complicates their relationship by sleeping with her ex. Meanwhile, Sandy directs a TV commercial for the bar.
