Hit man Norman Lynch agrees to one final job to kill Ramon Aguirre, in Ireland. Taking with him Peter Virtanen to teach him his job unaware his boss Jim Prescott wants Lynch killed.

After missed his shot, Virtanen's nerves begin to crumble. Lynch plans to complete the job and discovers that Ramon Aguirre is planning to Ireland by private plane unaware that Prescott anger.

Lynch makes a another attempt on the life of Ramon Aguirre by setting up Virtanen in a sniper's nest in the baggage train. Believing they have killed Aguirre they join a small plane heading for Manchester unaware he his not dead.

Major Gates makes a connection between Edward Malline and Easy Tours and assassination of political figures. Virtanen gives the game away when he is wrong footed by Lynch, who empties his gun of bullets before escaping.
