At Phoenix park, a theme park based on a celebrity named Pauline Phoenix, Barney, a trans boy accompanied by his dog puggsly, and Norma, a huge fan of Pauline, both go to a job interview as security guards at the park, but things quickly go south!

It's Barney, Norma and Pugsley's first day at the job. Pugsley gets lost while on the mandatory employee initiation tour, and set a hoard of old mascots loose in the park.

Norma's anxiety rears its ugly head when she, Barney and the other park workers do some team building at the beach under the supervision of a suspicious leader.

Barney and Norma are in charge of a birthday sleepover party at the park - which turns out to be the celebration of Barney's younger brother. Meanwhile, the other kids at the sleepover accidentally summon a monster.

When Courtney is down in the dumps, Barney, Norma and Pugsley try to cheer her up by taking part in an infernally challenging game show in the demon plane.

Barney tries to advance his budding relationship with Logs while standing in line for a ride with Norma, Pugsley and Courtney, but things get complicated when body-swapping magic is involved.

While Norma investigates the mystery of the missing Pauline Phoenix impersonators, Barney suffers through a grueling lunch with his family.

When the gang is trapped in a TV playing Pauline Phoenix's movies and TV shows, Barney and Pugsley need to reach through to Norma and dig deeper into the mystery.

With the help of Pugsley's musical spell, Barney and Norma try to stop Pauline's plan while Courtney wrestles with a dilemma.

Barney and Norma face off against a mob of ancient demons who have turned all park guests to stone and kidnapped Patrick.
